Terms
The agreement between you and us. Written to be read once and understood, rather than to be long.

Who you are dealing with
Skribia is operated by FYLL I: ditt namn eller ditt bolags namn, FYLL I: gatuadress, postnummer, ort, Sweden. Reach us at FYLL I: en adress som du läser. Creating an account means you accept these terms and the privacy page.
What the service does
You send us audio or video, or a link to it, and we return a transcript with timestamps. The transcript is produced by a machine. It will be wrong sometimes, more often on poor recordings, crosstalk, heavy accents and unusual names, and we do not guarantee any level of accuracy. Read it before you rely on it for anything that matters.
The three engines differ in how carefully they listen, and the pricing page describes the trade-off. None of them is a human transcriber.
Your account
Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You may share an account within a team, but everything done on it counts as done by you.
Plans and payment
- Free
- Three transcripts, so you can find out whether this works for you.
- Light
- 39 kr a month for ten hours of audio a month. Unused hours do not roll over, and when the hours run out you can either wait for the month to turn or move up.
- Unlimited
- 79 kr a month with no cap on how much audio you transcribe. Everything is queued on one machine, so it is a queue rather than a promise of instant results.
Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the current period. Payment is handled by Stripe. If a payment fails, the plan ends and the account returns to the free tier.
We may change prices, and if we do we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you, so you can cancel first.
If you change your mind
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because the service is delivered immediately, that right ends once we have performed it: if you start a transcription during those 14 days, you are asking us to begin straight away and accept that the right to withdraw is lost for the work already done.
If you have paid and transcribed nothing, write to us within 14 days and you get your money back, no explanation needed.
Your recordings stay yours
You keep every right you had in what you upload. You give us permission to store and process it for one purpose only: producing your transcript and showing it back to you. We do not use your recordings to train models, we do not sell them, and we do not let anyone else look at them.
Uploaded media is deleted automatically after 7 days. Transcripts stay until you delete them.
What you must not send
Only send recordings you have the right to send. Recording someone without the consent the law where you are requires is your responsibility, not ours. Do not use Skribia for material that is illegal to possess or distribute, and do not use it to work around anyone’s copyright.
Do not attack the service: no attempts to reach other people’s transcripts, no working around the usage limits, no automated flooding. There are limits on how much one address can send in a day, and they exist so that one visitor cannot take the machine from everyone else.
If you break this section we may suspend or close the account. If it is serious, or repeated, we will do so without warning.
When it is not working
Skribia runs on hardware we own and maintain. There is no uptime guarantee. It will be down sometimes, for maintenance, for a power cut, or because something broke. We will get it back as quickly as we can, and a long outage on a paid plan is worth writing to us about.
Limits of our liability
We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for what follows from an inaccurate transcript, for lost time, lost profit, or for a recording you no longer have a copy of yourself — keep your originals.
Where liability can be limited by law, ours is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer, and nothing here limits our liability for gross negligence or worse.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: cancel the plan, delete your transcripts, and ask us to delete the account. We can end the agreement if you break these terms, or with 30 days’ notice for any other reason, and in that case we refund the unused part of what you paid.
Which law applies
Swedish law, and disputes go to a Swedish court. As a consumer you can also take a complaint to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or through the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform, and you may always bring a case where you live.
Changes to these terms
We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect. If you do not accept it, cancel before then. The date at the top shows when this page was last edited.
